Welcome to the new Wyoming ACDA Website!

The Wyoming ACDA website has a new look, and a whole lot of new features. If you would like to know more about the new features and how to access and use them, come to the free Fall Workshop on September 23 at Casper College. Zach Vreeman (the site builder) will do a demonstration about how to use the site, get your login credentials, and create basic things like profiles and concert announcements.
If you are unable to come to that, what follows is a brief startup guide that explains the basics:

  1. Register a Login - If you press the "Login" button on the main menu, the site will invite you to Login to your account. If you do not yet have one, press the button above that says "Create New Account," and you will be able to create a login and password. If you happen to enter a username or email that is already in use, you will get an error.
  2. Registration Email - Your credentials will be automatically active after you create them, and in a few minutes, you will receive a confirmation email. This basic registration doesn't actually allow you to do anything on the site except register for events.
  3. Admin Approval - In order to be able to access the member features of the website, your ACDA membership needs to be confirmed by the Admin. You can email Zach at zvreeman@gmail.com to do that. Just tell him your username and ACDA membership number. When that has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email that your user role has been updated on the site and you have access to the features.
  4. User Profile - When you login after admin approval, you will be taken to a User Profile page that has links to four different types of site content you are allowed to create: Your Member Profile, Ensemble Profiles, Concert Events, and News/Announcements. There will also be a black bar at the top of the screen with links to those same activities.

That is the basic startup process! For more information and guidelines about the features within each of those content types that you are allowed to create, check back to this article after the September 23 workshop to download handouts and read more information.
